Our five-acre facility houses more than 3,000 homeless animals every year.  Our pets live in roomy kennels with plenty of beds, blankets and toys, and each of them also enjoys daily playtime in our enclosed yards and exercise rooms.  Over 90% of the animals that arrive at our shelter are either returned safely to their owners, or adopted into new, loving homes.

The City of Irvine participates in the Federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program.  Each year the City uses CDBG funds to assist non-profit public service organizations assist low and moderate income residents, as well as to assist.
Applications will be accepted beginning June 24, 2004.  The City has a very limited amount of funds available and will make selections at a later date.

It’s easy and it’s free!  Illegal dumping of motor oil is extremely damaging to the environment, can result in significant fines to violators, and represents a tremendous waste of resources.
